There is no better way to brighten up the interior of your home than to get your windows professionally cleaned. Whether it is the interior or exterior, our superior cleaning methods leave you with the view you deserve.

The window cleaning Process

Unlike other companies, your local Young Guns have an eye for the fine details. When we clean windows we CLEAN the window. Our process first starts by brushing all debris and cobwebs off with an extendable water-fed pole. Once the glass has been cleared, we then use a sponge with a mixture of water, vinegar and soap to penetrate deep into the glass for a thorough cleaning. Once the chemical has had a chance to eat away at pollen and hard mineral stains, the solution is then squeegeed off and touched up with a microfibre cloth to ensure a spotless finish. Alternatively, If we cannot reach the window by hand, the solution is scrubbed and washed off with a water-fed pole with 100% pure water. a and if the glass is out of reach, it is then brushed and washed away with 100% pure water.

Pricing

All estimates are completed in person to determine a fair price for your homes needs. Typically pricing per window will range from $2 - $5 depending on size and difficulty.

Glass railings (3' x 3'), cost is 5$ per pane (single side) or 8$ for both sides.

Skylights: A typical skylight (4' x 2') cost is $5 per pane

Glass awnings, prices typically range from $10 - $15 per pane (both sides) but can go upwards of $20 per pane depending on level of restoration required for the glass. Significant moss growth and various types of glass staining will warrant an up charge.

Recurring contracts

Following the initial window cleaning appointment where the glass receives a chemical treatment (read above), any subsequent window washing appointments for the remainder of the year will cost 50% of the original price you were quoted for (DISCLAIMER, only current discounts may be applied to any subsequent cleanings).

Example, if the original window cleaning totalled $200 CAD, following window washing appointments will be $100 CAD for the remainder of the year.

The window washing process: All subsequent window washing appointments will be done explicitly with a water-fed pole as the glass has already received a deep cleaning. Typical residential homes only require a deep cleaning once every year or two and it would be uneccesary and costly to have frequent deep cleanings unless that is your wish but cost will reflect that.

Frequency: For certain homes surrounded by lots of trees and other vegetation customers may want to have their glass cleaned up to 3 - 4 times per year. Alternatively, homes with very little trees and vegetation will only require 1 - 2 cleanings per year.
